Positive Thinking change the world

Positive Thinking change the world

Mindful eating has loads of benefits – even the Harvard Medical School agrees. The premier institute has published an article in its health e- news letter on the benefits of mindful eating. Mindful eating involves being fully aware of what you are eating, how it feels to your tongue – basically enjoying the sensation of eating.

A research conducted at National institute of Health (NIH), jointly funded by the Indiana State University and Duke University found that those who mediated on their meals enjoyed their food more and could control their eating better.

It also helps a person differentiate between emotion – induced hunger (False Hunger) and physical hunger (true Hunger)

Attitudinal Medicine intake – “if you think a medicine will work for you, it will. If you think it will not, it will not.” – a statement generated on the basis of the study published in the Science transnational Medicine. The research team applied heat to the legs of some healthy people. The subjects were then given medicine intravenously. When the subjects expected the treatment to work, it did. Brain scan of the subjects revealed that when we expect positive treatment, it increases activity in the cingulo – frontal and sub cortical lobes of our brain. When our expectations are negative, the medial frontal cortex and hippo-campus fire up.

So the next time you take something, first believe that it work for you and your brain will do the rest.
